• Enamel & Pearl Care: Handcrafted enamel is highly delicate and sensitive to impact or friction; please avoid dropping your pieces or scratching them against hard surfaces. Keep pearls entirely away from acids and alcohol-based products, such as perfumes and hairsprays.
• Avoid Chemicals: Water, soap, body lotions, perfumes, and cosmetics can affect the surface of your pieces and cause tarnishing. The chemical compounds in lotions and perfumes are a primary cause of discolouration. To prevent this, always apply these products first, allow them to dry completely, and then put on your jewellery.
• Cleaning: We advise using a soft microfibre cloth or a dedicated jewellery polishing cloth to clean your silver pieces. Coarser materials, such as paper towels, can scratch and damage the precious plating. If your jewellery is exposed to moisture, gently pat it dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth.
• The Order of Wear: Always ensure your jewellery is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Remove your pieces before applying body lotions, make-up, or perfume, and ensure these products have fully absorbed before wearing your items.
• Storage: To prevent scratches and preserve the brilliance of the plating, store your pieces separately so they do not come into contact with one another. We recommend using small, airtight grip-seal bags, or keeping them safely within their original Braelyn London box or pouch. Airtight storage protects the metal from oxidation, keeping your jewellery radiant for longer.

• Discolouration, tarnishing, or surface wear resulting from exposure to chemicals, moisture, or a failure to follow our recommended care instructions.
